EVA AI Review and EVA AI Subscription Price in 2026

Short answer: EVA AI (listed as EVA AI Soulmate) is a phone only AI companion app run by Novi Limited of Nicosia, Cyprus, and it sells nothing on the web. Its own US App Store listing, read on 6 October 2026, shows monthly memberships at $11.99, $14.99 and $24.99, a 3 month membership at $20.99, yearly memberships at $47.99 and $69.99, an item called EVA Premium at $13.99, and Neuron packs of 500 for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99. Which of those prices you are offered is decided inside the app, and the terms say every purchase made through Apple or Google is final.

That list is why every review of EVA quotes a different price. Most of them are not wrong, they just picked one line out of ten. Below is the full list, what Neurons buy, how refunds and cancelling work, what the privacy policy actually says, and who should pay for it. Every figure comes from EVA's App Store and Google Play listings and from its own terms (last updated 30 June 2026) and privacy policy (3 June 2026). How much does EVA AI cost?

EVA AI costs between $11.99 and $24.99 a month, $20.99 for three months, or $47.99 to $69.99 a year, all billed through Apple or Google. Neurons, the in app currency, cost $9.99 for 500 or $29.99 for 2,000. There is no web checkout and no published price page, so the App Store list is the only official price record.

Google Play gives a wider range, "$5.49 to $99.99 per item", so the Android store sells at least one item cheaper and one dearer than anything on the iPhone list. EVA's terms explain the spread in one sentence: Premium and Neuron prices "may vary based on region, length of subscription and more". In plain terms, the paywall you see is a test cell, and the person next to you may see another.

The cheapest way in, if the offer is shown to you, is the $47.99 year. That is $4 a month, which is less than half of any monthly price on the list and cheaper than almost every paid companion app we track in our AI girlfriend cost comparison. The catch is the word "if". You cannot pick the $47.99 year from a public page, and the $69.99 year sits on the same list.

What is the EVA AI subscription price per month?

The EVA AI subscription price per month is $11.99, $14.99 or $24.99 on a monthly plan, depending on the offer the app shows you. Paid quarterly it is $7 a month ($20.99 every three months), and paid yearly it is $4 or about $5.83 a month. The terms also allow semi annual billing, which does not appear on the current US list.

The $18.99 a month figure that some 2026 reviews quote appears nowhere on Apple's list, and we could not find it on Google Play either. Treat it as out of date or as a regional price.

What are Neurons on EVA AI?

Neurons are EVA AI's in app currency, bought in packs of 500 for $9.99 or 2,000 for $29.99. EVA's terms say one romantic message costs 2 Neurons to be read, and that virtual gifts are priced in Neurons with the cost shown in the chat. That works out at 3 to 4 cents to open each romantic message.

Run the arithmetic on a normal evening. Twenty romantic messages cost 40 Neurons, which is 80 cents at the small pack rate or 60 cents at the large one. Do that every day for a month and it is 1,200 Neurons, roughly $18 to $24 on top of the membership, which can double what you thought EVA cost. Light users will never notice. People who use EVA as a romantic partner every night are the ones whose bill drifts.

EVA does not publish a per action price for photos, voice or anything else, so we have not guessed one. One warning: EVA's old web app address now forwards to JOI, an adult site run by the same company, and JOI's own terms charge 4 Neurons per romantic message and up to 120 per photo. Those are JOI's prices, not EVA's, and reviews that mix the two are describing a different product.

Is EVA AI free?

EVA AI is free to download and has a free Basic level, which its terms describe only as "limited access to the Service". Premium is the paid level, and its exact scope "will be defined during the subscription process", so EVA publishes no numeric free limit. If a payment is more than 7 days late, the account falls back to Basic.

That vagueness matters when you are deciding whether to pay. You will not know which features sit behind the paywall, or which price you will be offered, until you are inside the app looking at it. Can I get a refund from EVA AI?

Usually not from EVA itself. Its terms say that if you buy a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, "the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund", and they rule out refunds for any partial period. Your only route is the store's own refund request, which Apple and Google judge case by case.

Two more clauses are worth knowing before you dispute a charge with your bank. EVA says it may need to disclose "any and/or all private communications" to prove a charge was valid, so a chargeback can put your chats in front of a payment processor. And EVA's terms do not state the billing descriptor, which in practice means the line on your statement reads as an Apple or Google purchase.

How do I cancel EVA AI?

Cancel EVA AI in your phone's store settings, not in the app. On an iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose EVA AI Soulmate and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, EVA AI Soulmate, Cancel. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Is EVA AI safe and private?

EVA AI is a legitimate app with a named operator, 4.3 stars from about 24,600 US App Store ratings and over 5 million Android installs, but its privacy policy is broad. It says your text and voice messages are used to develop its AI, usage data is shared with the ad network Mintegral, and, if you consent, session recordings go to Microsoft, which "may use the Personal Data it collects for any purpose".

The policy also says EVA does not rent or sell your information, and Google Play lists a way to request deletion. Apple's privacy label shows identifiers and usage data used to track you, and contact info, purchases, coarse location and your photos or videos linked to your identity. Characters you create belong to EVA, which can switch one from private to public. If you have used EVA for a while and want to know exactly what it holds, you can request a copy of the personal data a company keeps on you and decide from there what to delete.

Is EVA AI NSFW?

On paper, no. EVA's terms prohibit "any sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult-themed content". In practice the App Store rates it 18+ with a "Sexual Content or Nudity" descriptor, and the in app currency is spent on reading "romantic messages". Expect flirtation behind a paywall rather than an explicit app, and do not buy it expecting the explicit side its sister site JOI sells.

Is EVA AI worth it?

EVA AI is worth it if you mostly chat on your phone and the app offers you the $47.99 year, because at $4 a month it is one of the cheapest paid companions available. It is a poor fit if you want a fixed, published price, web access, refunds outside the store, or a bill that stays the same when you send a lot of romantic messages.

EVA AI is a long running, well rated phone companion with a confusing price list and a currency that turns romance into a per message cost. Check which offer the paywall shows you before paying, prefer the yearly plan if you stay, and remember that store purchases are final.
