Talkie AI vs PolyBuzz Pricing and Which One to Pay For

Short answer: Talkie is the one you can still buy on an iPhone in the US, and PolyBuzz is the one with the clearer plan ladder on the web. Apple's US listing for Talkie Lab, read on 4 November 2026, shows a 1 Month item at $9.99, a 1 Year item at $49.99, a 1 Month Talkie+ Pro at $24.99 and six gem packs from $1.99 to $19.99. PolyBuzz Standard was $9.90 a month, Premium $19.90 and Ultimate $29.90 in the last US price list Apple published, and the iPhone app has not been back since. If you already pay for one and are deciding whether to switch, read the refund and weekly plan sections first.

Talkie figures are Apple's US in-app purchase list for Talkie Lab (SUBSUP PTE. LTD.), read on 4 November 2026. Talkie's own site returned an access denied error to our fetch, so we print nothing from it. PolyBuzz dollar prices are Apple's last US list, read on 12 October 2026 before the listing went dark, with plan contents and terms from polybuzz.ai read on 23 October. On 1 November 2026 Apple's search still returned no PolyBuzz app for the US. Yearly totals are our arithmetic.

Talkie AI vs PolyBuzz pricing, side by side

Is Talkie AI cheaper than PolyBuzz?

On a year, yes, by a wide margin if you buy the Apple yearly item. A 1 Year item at $49.99 is $4.17 a month, against $118.80 for twelve months of PolyBuzz Standard paid monthly. Paid monthly the two entry prices are within ten cents of each other, $9.99 against $9.90. Talkie's listing names its items only by duration, so we cannot tell you which perks the $9.99 and $49.99 items unlock. Open the plan screen in the app before you pay.

Which one wastes less money on extras?

Neither is clean. Talkie sells gems in six sizes, from $1.99 to $19.99, plus level gift packs at $0.49 and $1.00 and a Plus coin at $5.99. PolyBuzz sells coins from $2.49 for 1,000 to $9.99 for 8,000, and the smallest pack costs about twice as much per coin as the largest. In both apps the plan price is not the whole bill if you regenerate replies or buy gifts.

PolyBuzz has one more trap, the weekly plan. Standard at $4.99 a week looks small, but kept for a year it costs $259.48, more than twice the monthly Standard price of $118.80.

Can I still get Talkie AI on iPhone?

Yes, as Talkie Lab. Talkie was pulled from the US App Store in December 2024 and came back under that name, and the listing was live when we read it on 4 November 2026. Our timeline of what happened to Talkie AI also records a removal from Google Play in 2026, so check your own store.

Is PolyBuzz still on the US App Store?

Not when we looked. The App Store page returned a 404 and Apple's search found no PolyBuzz app for the US on 1 November 2026. Google Play still listed it, and the web version works in a browser. If you subscribed through Apple, your existing subscription is managed from your Apple account, so cancel there and not in the app.

Which has better memory, Talkie or PolyBuzz?

PolyBuzz publishes tier names for it. Long Memory is on every paid tier and Permanent Memory only on Ultimate at $29.90 a month, and its own FAQ admits a character may forget earlier chats over time. We found no published memory figure for Talkie, and Talkie is better known for voice chat than for long memory. If a character remembering you across weeks is what you pay for, neither app puts a number on it.

Can I get a refund from Talkie or PolyBuzz?

Do not plan on one from PolyBuzz, whose terms say payments are not refunded even after you cancel. For Talkie, anything bought through Apple follows Apple's refund process, and we could not read Talkie's own terms. The safe rule on both is the same. Pay for one month first, and set a reminder for the renewal date the day you subscribe.

Which one should I pay for?

Pay for Talkie on an iPhone if voice chat and a huge library of characters are the point and you take the yearly item once you know you will stay. Pay for PolyBuzz on Android or the web if you want the guided character feed, skip the weekly option, and choose Ultimate only if a character forgetting you is the reason you are upgrading. Both are libraries of user-made characters, so the experience depends on which characters you land on.

The bigger risk in both is availability. Talkie has been pulled once and reported off Google Play, and PolyBuzz is missing from the US App Store right now. If you chat daily, a status monitor that alerts you the moment a site or service goes down tells you quickly whether it is the app or your connection. And if what you want is one steady companion that no store can remove, Beauties.ai is the narrower option: six girlfriends written and illustrated in house, each with a fixed personality, who remember what you told them and, on Flame and above, text you first. Texting is unlimited with no gems or coins, in any browser. Plans are $12 a month, or $9 a month billed yearly, and the pricing page shows every tier before you sign up. Talkie's $49.99 yearly item is cheaper than our $108 and we would rather say so. It is tasteful by design, not an explicit generator. Our Talkie AI alternative and PolyBuzz alternative pages go tier by tier.
