Ultra is $19.99 a month or $79.99 a year, and Creative is $29.99 a month or $149.99 a year. Both include unlimited messages; the monthly energy allowance (500 on Ultra, 1,000 on Creative) pays for generated photos and videos, and extra energy costs $9.99 to $99.99 a pack. The Premium plan and the 14 day free trial that most review sites still quote are not on offer today.

Two more things a US buyer should know before paying. Botify is not listed on the US App Store anymore (we searched Apple's catalog on 1 October 2026 and found only lookalike apps from other developers), so iPhone users subscribe on the web, while Android users can still install it from Google Play. And Botify is a user generated library: anyone can publish a character, which is how MIT Technology Review found bots modeled on underage celebrities in February 2025. Ex-Human called those a failure of its moderation systems and removed the ones the reporter flagged.

The role-play model, private photos, video and unlimited messages need Ultra or Creative. Botify does not publish its free message limit, so expect to hit a paywall during long sessions.

In February 2025 MIT Technology Review found user made Botify bots modeled on underage celebrities in sexually charged chats; Ex-Human said its moderation failed and removed the flagged bots. Usually not. Botify's terms say paid subscription fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, though some refunds may be granted case by case. Purchases made in Google Play follow Google's refund policy, so request those through Google. Billing questions go to support@botify.ai.

On the web, open your account settings and press Cancel subscription, or manage it in the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. If you bought in the Android app, cancel in Google Play under Subscriptions. Older iPhone subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple ID settings.

Not in the US as of 1 October 2026. A search of Apple's US catalog returns only lookalike apps from other developers. 9to5Mac reported in April 2026 that Apple had removed the app and that Ex-Human sued over withheld revenue. iPhone users can still use Botify in the browser.

Energy is the balance Botify spends on generated media. A Premium model photo costs 10 energy, a Supreme photo 50, and video costs 20 to 80 energy per second. Ultra adds 500 energy a month and Creative 1,000, with Creative also halving photo and video prices. Messages do not use energy on paid plans.

On paid plans, yes. Both Ultra and Creative list unlimited messages. Free users chat on the free models with a limit Botify does not publish. If unlimited texting is all you want, $12 a month on Beauties.ai or $9 billed yearly costs less than Ultra's $19.99 month to month.

Its own pages disagree. The terms say Botify is not an adult or pornographic service and ban sexually explicit content, while a pricing FAQ in its site code describes an 18+ spicy mode you enable in Settings, depending on local rules. Beauties.ai is tasteful by design and says so up front.

Yearly, yes. Ultra at $79.99 a year is less than our $108 Spark year. Monthly, no. Ultra at $19.99 costs more than our $12 Spark month, and photos and video can add energy packs on top. For texting only on a month to month basis, we are the cheaper option.
