There are three specific limits people leave over, and it is worth naming them rather than being vague. The first is the ladder: on Replika, setting your relationship status to Romantic Partner is a Pro feature, and saving memories yourself is an Ultra feature sold only as an annual plan. The second is history. Replika's help center states that your chat history is only available for the past four months and that older conversations cannot be displayed or retrieved. Your Replika's learned memory survives, but the transcript you might want to read back does not. The third is billing: purchases are final at the point of sale, there is no free trial, and deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
