Cancel PolyBuzz Subscription: PolyBuzz Refund Rules

Short answer: cancel PolyBuzz in the same place you paid for it, because the three places do not talk to each other. Bought on an iPhone? Cancel in iPhone Settings. Bought on Android? Cancel in Google Play. Bought on polybuzz.ai? Use the Refund&Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the membership page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not return money, and PolyBuzz's own terms say payments are not refunded "even if the subscription is subsequently cancelled". Refunds for app purchases come from Apple or Google, not from PolyBuzz. We read PolyBuzz's terms of use (last updated 1 June 2026), its FAQ, its web checkout and Apple's US price list for the app on 27 September 2026.

That last point is the one most cancel guides skip, and it decides whether you get anything back. Below: the exact steps for each platform, what each refund route really allows, which charges are worth chasing, and the two traps that keep people paying after they think they have left.

How do I cancel my PolyBuzz subscription?

First work out where the subscription lives. Your card statement tells you: APPLE.COM/BILL means the App Store, a Google line means Google Play, and Singularity Mutual Entertainment or AWX*CLOUD WHALE means you paid on the website. PolyBuzz's FAQ gives the App Store and Google Play steps in almost exactly those words, and its terms add a web route through Settings and then Help Center inside the product. Either way the result is the same: the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then it stops. PolyBuzz's FAQ says so directly: "Your PolyBuzz subscription benefits will remain active until the end of the current payment period."

Can I get a refund from PolyBuzz?

From PolyBuzz itself, rarely. Its terms of use say, in section 9.9, that "any user payment made in accordance with our rates and policies will not be refunded, even if the subscription is subsequently cancelled", and elsewhere that users "are not entitled to any refund for a completed purchase without due reason". The only refund PolyBuzz promises in writing is for its own pricing mistakes: if it charges you on a typographic error, it may cancel the order and return the money within 90 business days.

That does not mean a refund is impossible. It means the route depends on who took your money.

• App Store purchases are refunded by Apple under Apple's own rules. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the PolyBuzz charge, choose Request a refund and pick the reason. PolyBuzz cannot refund an Apple charge even if it wanted to.
• Google Play purchases are refunded by Google. Google's refund help says you can request one yourself within 48 hours of the purchase; after that Google sends you to the developer, which brings you back to PolyBuzz's terms.
• Web purchases go through PolyBuzz. Use Refund&Unsubscribe on the membership page or email PolyBuzz support with the date, amount and the exact line from your statement.

The requests that tend to succeed are the ones with a clear reason: a renewal you did not expect, a duplicate subscription, a weekly plan you thought was monthly, or a purchase made by a child. On that last one, be aware PolyBuzz's terms say it will not accept a refund request on the ground of a child's purchase "by mistake or accident". Apple and Google have their own family purchase policies, which is another reason to go to the store first when the purchase was in an app.

Which PolyBuzz charges are worth disputing?

Match the amount before you do anything. Every price here is from the In-App Purchases list on PolyBuzz's US App Store page, read on 27 September 2026.

The row that deserves the most attention is the weekly plan. At $4.99 it looks like the cheapest option at checkout, but 52 renewals come to $259.48 a year, more than a full year of Premium at $19.90 a month ($238.80). If your statement shows the same $4.99 every seven days, that is almost certainly why your PolyBuzz bill felt higher than you expected. If you are trying to find every PolyBuzz charge across several months, the fastest way is to search your email for Apple or Google receipts that name PolyBuzz, then total them. If there are a lot of them, you can turn a folder of receipts into a spreadsheet and hand the whole list to your bank or to the store's support team in one go.

Will deleting the PolyBuzz app cancel my subscription?

No, and this is the trap that produces most of the "I cancelled but I am still being charged" complaints. Deleting the app removes it from your phone. The subscription lives in your Apple ID, your Google account or your PolyBuzz web account, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it there.

Deleting the PolyBuzz account does not solve it either. PolyBuzz's terms list the conditions for deleting an account, and one of them is that "the premium services purchased under the account have expired". So the order is always: cancel, let the paid period run out, then delete the account if you want it gone.

Why am I still being charged after cancelling PolyBuzz?

Three causes cover almost every case.

1. Two subscriptions. People subscribe in the app, later subscribe again on the website (or the reverse), and cancel only one. They bill under different names, APPLE.COM/BILL and Singularity Mutual Entertainment, so they look unrelated on a statement. Check both.
2. The period had not ended. A cancel stops the next renewal, not the one already processed. A charge dated before your cancellation is not a new charge.
3. A coin or Opal purchase. Those are one off and have nothing to do with the plan. They show up at the prices in the table above.

If none of those explains it and nobody in your household uses PolyBuzz, treat the charge as unauthorized: call your card issuer, dispute it and ask for a new card number. If it is your own account, contact the store or PolyBuzz first, because a chargeback on a purchase you actually made can get the account locked while it is reviewed.

What happens when you cancel PolyBuzz?

You keep the paid features until the period ends, then drop to the free tier. The membership table on PolyBuzz's site lists what goes: the stronger memory chat models, unlimited character voice listening, the ad free experience and the extra daily avatar generation attempts. Coins you bought and did not use are only worth anything while you keep using PolyBuzz, so spend or forget them before you leave.

Is there a PolyBuzz alternative without coins or weekly plans?

It depends what you were paying for. If PolyBuzz was a place to browse millions of user made characters, to hear them talk and to generate avatars, nothing smaller replaces that, and you should keep it on the plan you actually use rather than the weekly one.
