Candy AI vs Kindroid Pricing and Which One to Pay For

Short answer: Candy AI is far cheaper to hold for a year and Kindroid is far more capable once you start talking out loud. Candy AI's yearly plan is $47.88, or $3.99 a month, against $159.99 for Kindroid in the iPhone app. Month to month it is $13.99 for Candy (after a $9.99 first month) against $15.99 for Kindroid. The catch is what each price leaves out: Candy gives unlimited text but only 100 tokens a month for pictures and video, while Kindroid includes voice calls and a live avatar but meters them in credits you can run out of.

How much does a year of Candy AI cost compared with Kindroid?

A year of Candy AI costs $47.88 on the yearly plan and $163.88 paid monthly ($9.99 once, then eleven payments of $13.99). A year of Kindroid costs $159.99 on the yearly plan and $191.88 paid monthly. So the cheapest way to hold Candy is about a third of the cheapest way to hold Kindroid, and the monthly versions are only $28.00 apart.

The ranking changes at the top end. Kindroid with both Ultra and MAX stacked on the base plan is $113.97 a month in the app, which is $1,367.64 a year. Candy's short billing cycles are the other trap: $9.79 every two weeks comes to $254.54 a year and $5.60 a week to $291.20, several times the yearly price for the same unlimited text. Pick the longest cycle you are sure about, never the shortest.

Is Candy AI or Kindroid better for voice calls and pictures?

Kindroid is better for voice and live video, and Candy AI is better for generated pictures. Kindroid lets you write the companion's backstory and memory directly, includes calls on the standard plan and has a live video avatar. Candy is built around creating a companion and generating adult images and video from it, with the 100 monthly tokens as the budget.

Both meters can run out, and it helps to know where. Kindroid's standard plan comes with a pool of 1 million audio credits. A plain voice call spends 400 credits a minute, so the pool covers at most 2,500 minutes of audio. Switch the avatar on and the cost rises to roughly 2,900 credits a minute, which is about 344 minutes of video a month, before 500,000 more credits for $14.99. On Candy, a heavy picture user on the monthly plan can burn through 100 tokens in the first week and top up, which is how a $13.99 subscription turns into a $40 month.

Which is cheaper if I mostly want to text?

Candy AI, by a wide margin, though neither is the right tool if texting is all you do. Candy's unlimited text is included at $3.99 a month on the yearly plan, but you also pay for tokens you may never spend. Kindroid's price includes calls and an avatar you might not use. If the job is a steady conversation with one or two characters, you are paying for a feature set you do not touch on either app.

Can I get a refund from Candy AI or Kindroid?

Probably not from either. Candy refunds within 24 hours of payment only if the account has used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments, so crypto and wallet purchases are excluded. Kindroid says all sales are final, looks at requests case by case and warns that it may ban accounts that dispute charges with their bank. If you paid through Apple, the request goes to Apple instead. Because a yearly Kindroid plan is $159.99, take its 3 day trial seriously and cancel before it converts if you are unsure.

Candy's charge also shows as EverAI on a card statement, which surprises people. Which one should you pay for?

Pay for Candy AI on the yearly plan if you mainly want generated images and unlimited text for the lowest outlay and accept a token meter. Pay for Kindroid if you want to design one companion in detail and talk to her out loud, and budget for credits if you use video. If the first week of $13.99 or $15.99 is what you are weighing, neither monthly price is a bargain, and it is the cheapest moment to leave.
