OurDream's help article "Monthly vs Annual Subscriptions", edited 17 July 2026, spells out the yearly billing, because people keep asking about it: you are charged $119.88 once, "You are NOT charged every month", and the next charge is 12 months later. What do dreamcoins cost, and what do they buy?

Extra dreamcoins cost $11.99 for 1,000, $49.99 for 5,000 and $159.99 for 20,000, which is $11.99, $10.00 and $8.00 per 1,000. You can only buy them while you hold a subscription. What they buy comes from OurDream's coin guide, "What costs coins?", edited 2 March 2026:

Cents are rounded. The upgrade page itself translates Premium's 1,000 monthly coins into "20 minutes of voice calls" or "10 videos", and Deluxe's 5,000 into 100 minutes or 50 videos. Those are alternatives, not a bundle: 20 minutes of calls uses the whole month's coins.

What does OurDream AI really cost for the way you use it?

This is the part the pricing pages skip. We took five usage patterns, worked out the coins each one burns in a four week month, and bought the missing coins in the cheapest combination of packs. Monthly means both the plan and the packs are paid month to month. Yearly means the plan's yearly rate spread over twelve months, plus the same packs.

Three things fall out of that table. First, if you only chat on the standard models, the coins go unused and Premium yearly at $9.99 a month is the whole bill. Second, as soon as calls or video become a weekly habit, the bill jumps to several times the plan price, because Premium's 1,000 coins cover only 20 minutes of calls a month. Third, for anyone who calls or generates video regularly, Deluxe billed yearly is the cheapest way to run OurDream. It costs $20 a month more than yearly Premium and includes 4,000 more coins, which is $5.00 per 1,000. No coin pack comes close to that; the best one is $8.00 per 1,000.

The catch is commitment. Yearly Deluxe is $359.88 up front, and OurDream's refund rules, covered below, make that money hard to get back if the novelty wears off in month two.

Is OurDream AI free?

Not in any useful sense. OurDream's coin guide says free accounts pay 1 dreamcoin per chat message and cannot use most features, its help center says image and video generation need a subscription, and dreamcoins can only be bought by subscribers. The help article "How can I get free dreamcoins?" answers that OurDream does not currently offer free coins, apart from Discord contests. A free account is a preview; paying starts at $9.99 a month billed yearly.

Is OurDream Premium or Deluxe worth it?

Premium is worth it if you mostly chat and generate the odd image, because its 1,000 coins cover roughly 200 images and the chat itself is unlimited. Deluxe only makes sense if you would otherwise buy about 4,000 extra coins a month, or you want the premium chat models and triple memory. Billed monthly, Deluxe's extra $40 buys coins at the same $10 per 1,000 rate as the 5,000 pack, so you are not saving anything, you are prepaying.

One detail to check before upgrading for the models: the upgrade page lists "free premium chat models" on Deluxe but does not name them, while the coin guide charges subscribers 1 coin per reply on Genius and Lively Genius. If Genius is the reason you want Deluxe, confirm in the model menu that it is included before paying $59.99.

Do unused dreamcoins roll over?

OurDream's coin guide states that "Dreamcoins do not refresh monthly" and that subscribers receive 1,000 coins on each billing anniversary, with deposits processed at 2pm Eastern on the renewal date. Read together, coins you do not spend are not wiped at renewal the way some rivals reset their monthly grants (Secrets AI, for one, resets its Moments grant every renewal, as our Secrets AI review and pricing breakdown shows). That makes Premium less wasteful for light months, since unused coins build up for a month when you want to call.

What happens to your images if you cancel OurDream AI?

They are blurred. OurDream's help center says that if you unsubscribe, the images and videos you generated are blurred until you subscribe again, including community packs you unlocked, and you cannot buy coins without an active plan. You keep access until the end of the paid period, so download anything you want to keep before then. Cancelling is done from your profile page with a Cancel subscription button.

Can you get a refund from OurDream AI?

Rarely. OurDream's refund policy, dated 9 March 2026, and its help article on refunds say a product cannot be refunded once more than 25 percent of it has been used, monthly plans cannot be refunded once the coins are spent, crypto payments are never refunded, and defect claims must be raised within 14 days. Annual plans may qualify for a full or partial refund case by case. Treat a yearly purchase as final.
