Short answer: Moemate is gone. moemate.io and www.moemate.io have no DNS records today (checked 5 October 2026), the last capture of the working app in the Internet Archive is from 28 January 2025, and by March 2025 the address showed a Webaverse waitlist page and then a Moemate Exporter for downloading characters and chats. That exporter has been offline since May 2025 as well. If you are looking for a Moemate alternative, nothing you paid for can be recovered, so the real question is which app replaces the part of Moemate you used.

Moemate's last checkout, captured in November 2024, sold three plans through Chargebee: Rookie at $9 a month, Champion at $19.99 a month or $210 a year, and Elite at $34.99 a month or $378 a year, each with an energy meter that refilled 50 to 100 points an hour and battery packs from $5.99 to $164.99 on top. It was made by Webaverse Inc., and it stood out for three things: a desktop companion that could see your screen, VRM 3D avatars, and a choice of GPT and Claude models.

Beauties.ai replaces only one of those parts, and we would rather say so up front. Six girlfriends are written and illustrated in house, texting is unlimited, and there is no energy meter. Spark is $12 a month or $108 a year, the same yearly price as Moemate's Rookie. We do not see your screen, import avatars or generate images. Moemate plan names, prices, energy limits, battery packs and features come from Moemate's own subscribe page code (archived 29 November 2024), its 2023 download page and FAQ, and its terms dated 25 April 2023, all read through the Internet Archive on 5 October 2026. Status comes from DNS lookups and archive captures made the same day. The operator is Webaverse Inc., as printed on Moemate's pages in 2023 and 2025. Moemate published no shutdown notice we could find; third party reports put the shutdown on 11 February 2025, which we could not confirm. Beauties.ai prices are from our pricing page.

Yes, in effect. moemate.io and www.moemate.io return no DNS records as of 5 October 2026, so the site cannot load anywhere. The working app was last captured by the Internet Archive on 28 January 2025, and nothing captured since then is the chat app. We found no shutdown notice from Moemate itself.
In February 2025. The last archived copy of the working app is from 28 January 2025, and there are no working homepage captures between 1 February and 7 March 2025. Third party reports name 11 February 2025, which fits that gap but which we could not confirm from a Moemate source.
Its maker, Webaverse Inc., replaced it. In March 2025 the address showed a waitlist for a Webaverse project called Aether Forge, then from mid March to May 2025 a Moemate Exporter for downloading characters and chats, branded Mates.lol. After May 2025 the domain stopped resolving.
No. The Moemate Exporter, which offered Export Characters and Export Chats behind a sign in, was online from about March to May 2025 and is offline now along with the rest of the domain. If you did not export then, the data is not reachable through Moemate. Moemate's 2023 desktop app stored most chat logs on your own device, so check an old install if you used it.

It depends on what you used Moemate for. For texting one companion without a meter, a flat plan like ours at $12 a month replaces it directly. For explicit images, an image led app fits better. For a choice of GPT or Claude models, a bring your own key setup does. No single app copies all of Moemate.
Few companion apps do this. Kindroid's help center, updated 23 September 2026, describes camera and screen sharing inside its calls, which is the closest current match to Moemate's screen reading desktop companion. Beauties.ai does not see your screen; it is a text first companion.
Not any more. Moemate offered a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux in 2023 and later ran as a web app. A search of Apple's US App Store on 5 October 2026 found no app named Moemate, and an Android download page for it now returns gone. Be wary of any download that claims to be Moemate today.
Webaverse Inc. Moemate's pages carried a Webaverse copyright from 2023 to 2025, its privacy contact was a webaverse.com address, and its terms and privacy policy were dated 25 April 2023. Billing ran through a Chargebee account under the Webaverse name.
It is not the original service. The Moemate that people paid for ran on moemate.io, which no longer resolves. Other domains using the Moemate name are separate sites, so do not assume an old account, character or subscription carries over to them.
It allowed it. Moemate's later web app had a mature toggle on the profile and NSFW tags on characters, and its paid plans advertised unfiltered chat and images. Beauties.ai is tasteful by design and is not the right replacement if explicit content was the reason you used Moemate.
Yearly, it is the same at the entry level. Our Spark year is $108, exactly what Moemate Rookie cost over twelve months. Monthly, Spark at $12 is $3 more than Rookie was, but there is no energy meter and no battery packs, so the bill does not grow with how much you talk.
There is no sign of it. The domain is still registered until May 2027 but has no address records, and the last things Webaverse put on it were a waitlist for a different project and a data exporter. Paying for a replacement now is safer than waiting.
People who mostly texted one companion and want that to just keep working. You pick from six written girlfriends, she remembers what you tell her and messages first, and the price is published and flat. If you want screen vision, avatar import or model choice, we are not that product.
