Nomi meters selfies, art, image edits, videos, group chat rooms and extra companion slots in Nomi Credits, sold in five packs from $4.99 to $99.99. Because the packs are priced on a curve, the same thing costs wildly different amounts depending on which pack you bought it with. One high-definition video is 56 cents of credit if you bought the 1,800 pack and $1.25 if you bought the 40 pack, and an extra Nomi slot is $5.56 or $12.48 on the same logic. That is a 2.2x spread, and we have not found another page that publishes it. There is also a catch in the fine print of Nomi's own app: you must hold an active subscription to buy credits at all, so credits are an addition to the plan, never a way around it.

Two things in Nomi's favor, because the comparison should be honest. Nomi credits do not expire, which is genuinely better than the monthly reset most companion apps run, and they are only spent after your included daily allowance is used up rather than from the first request. Nomi also runs an unusually open official wiki, publishes its cancellation and refund policies in full, and has published a California SB 243 compliance protocol that routes users showing signs of self-harm to crisis resources anonymously. Very few companies in this category publish anything at all. Three caveats on our own numbers. Nomi does not publish a web price list, so every figure above is the App Store column and the web equivalent may be slightly lower.
